| Sa mga naghahanap ng online Tagalog-English dictionary, eto po ang link: tagalog-english dictionaryJust type the word on the Site Search bar, upper right corner. Buti nahanap ko pa. Nawala kasi noong nag-reformat ako. Malaki ang naitutulong nito sa akin sa pagsusulat ng Tagalog. As in, malaki talaga. Enjoy. | |

| @Miss Jen Ay salamat po sa paglilinaw. Sana po mailipat ang thread na ito somewhere na maraming mas makakakita. Para po kasing hindi masyadong ma-benta sa Help section. Hihihi. @Haze Nauubusan kasi ako ng Filipino words kadalasan, eh ayoko namang ulit-ulitin baka magasgas. Haha. | |

| Malantik ang mga pilik-mata o malalantik ang pilik-mata. Iba ang pumilantik, usually patungkol sa daliri | |

| @green Papamilansikin -If I base on your example, the word I use is pilantik. Pareho lang yata sila. Ex.: Mapilantik ang kanyang pilik-mata. Pumilantik ang kanyang mga daliri. | |

| Just Want to share this: mababata - to carry or endure (like a burden or heavy load); this is pronounced fast with emphasis on the 2nd syllable not the 3rd one. If you put emphasis on the 3rd syllable, the meaning differs and will refer to an adjective that means young. Although used in that context, its wrong use of grammar (like "Mababata pa sila = They are still young. >> The proper way to translate this in Tagalog is "Mga bata pa sila") napayukayok - similar word "napadukdok", similar to the idiom "hung one's head" (like in shame or guilt) humilig - the act of putting one's head on somebody else' s shoulder apuhapin - similar word "hanapin", find someone or something nilungayngay - almost similar to "napayukayok" but it's usually used when someone is tired or weary bumalisbis - i would have to see this used in a sentence to be sure but I guess it would mean to hasten or hurry up (relative to the word "bumilis" or "humagibis") panaghoy - wail(ing); a loud cry of anguish masawata - to stop or prevent someone or something (like a crime) maapula - similar to "masawata" but it's more often used in putting out fire pagkagulaylay - weariness or a feeling of being very tired as if you cannot move anymore isinusuob - another word "isinusuong"; facing (a challenge or danger) or entering (an unknown territory or place) sinisikagan - again im not sure about this but it sounds like being trampled or kicked upon (the word I'm actually thinking is "sinisikaran", in some provinces they vary on some consonants but means the same papamilansikin - nearest English word I can think of is to flail (meaning varies depending on what is going to be "papamilansikin" it's a description of a movement or action closely associated with rich or snob people; example when a socialite holds a glass of wine with the pinkie finger up, it's "pamimilansik ng daliri (finger); or if they move or turn their head away from somebody, it's "pamimilansik ng ulo" >> get the drift? nagunamgunam - another word "nawari"; to ponder or realize after deep thinking or reflection markagurlis - another word "magkagalos" to be scarred or injured (minor wound or scratches) ipinagkanulo - betrayed (like "ipinagkanulo ni Hudas si Jesus" = Judas bertrayed Jesus) - i hope this little information help to all of you | |

| "Gising na." Mahinang tapik sa mukha ang nagpabalik sa malay-tao ni zaira ng mga sandaling iyon. "Huh?" naalimpungatan si Zaira. "What happened to you? How can you sleep during my wedding?" nagmarakulyo si Macs. Her riend Zaira left the earth during her wedding! It's her wedding with Shinichi for crying out loud!
Nagtawanan ang lahat. Zaira felt her cheeks burn. She was left with nothing but a red face and misty eyes.
HAHAHA. hmp!
tapik --> mahinang tampal.
naalimpungatan --> nagising...
nagmarakulyo --> nagmaktol.
left the earth --> nawala sa sarili ...took a nap.
felt her cheeks burn --> nagblush/flush
misty eyes --> mangiyak-ngiyak... teary eyed.

| Biglang tumalon ang puso ni Macs nang mapagtanto kung sino ang biglang sumulpot sa harapan niya.
It was Shinichi, the man she had loved and swore to love forever. Her trembling lips curved a saccharine smile as Shinichi walked towards her.
His heart-pounding grin just made her day.
_____
mapagtanto --> malaman. ma-realize.
saccharine --> matamis na matamis. haha (hyperbole...LOL)

| napahagalpak --> napatawa ng malakas
gasped --> napasinghap. paghinga ng malalim. (tipong gulat)
sambulat --> bulalas.

Itutuloy....
may word bang usisaan? hakhak

Sapantaha, hinala patadyong, klase ng damit yun, parang palda ata na pambabae, di lang ako sure pero damit siya. Masyado kang marahas, haha.
Marahil ay tama ang sapantaha ni Macspy na may lihim din na pagtingin si Shinichi sa kanya... ahaha
